Did you know Tony White – Fast-Form Systems’ CEO – is a qualified commercial pilot? As a holder of a UK Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Tony cheerfully admits that is all he needed to get up amongst the clouds and be happy. But then a friend, who happened to own an airline, suggested Tony should try to net a commercial licence. At the time of the last recession and before Fast-Form Systems Ltd was founded, to Tony this sounded like a challenge…

“He said get yourself a commercial licence and come and work with me? So, I said okay and spent two years doing that part-time while still working – it was like a degree course doing the 14 exams and then there was the flight training. It took about two years to get through it but I did and I’m now a proud holder of an airline transport pilot license (ATPL).”

Does this mean Fast-Form Systems’ international orders could be delivered personally by Tony White? At the moment, all international orders are delivered by specialist logistics companies, while at home, Fast-Form’s own fleet vehicles try to deliver within days of orders being placed. We will leave it in the safe hands of our global distributors for now. However, we should never say never because the CEO still likes a challenge…
